In the serene atmosphere of Maison Itany tea house, Lily Vittot, our expert florist, will introduce you to the art of Ikebana. During this two-hour workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to create two stunning floral arrangements.

In the first hour, immerse yourself in the fascinating history of Ikebana and discover the renowned balanced style of the Ichiyo school. Lily will demonstrate several support techniques unique to Ichiyo, guiding you in crafting a spring-inspired floral masterpiece in a unique tea cup, crafted by Usukiyaki in Japan.

For the second hour, you’ll have the opportunity to create a floral centerpiece in the Gloria vase from Atlas·t editions, also crafted by Usukiyaki, using seasonal materials. During this workshop, you’ll learn to create a natural support to sustain the floral arrangement, promoting the natural balance of flower and plant weights. The aim will be to show you how to use this beautiful vase and explain the basic principles of Ikebana throughout the floral arrangement process.

All flowers and necessary tools will be provided during the workshop, allowing participants to acquire the skills of Ikebana and floral arrangement. At the end of the session, you will have the opportunity to take home your creations, including the flowers, kenzan, natural support, and teacup, depending on the purchased ticket.
